Intellectual Bandwidth (IB) has been proposed as a measure of a firm's ability to effectively transfer and utilize Intellectual Capital (1C) from its human resources to others or Information Systems (IS) where it can be stored and reused. We define IBas organizational members' ability to access and apply available data, information, knowledge and wisdom resources to solve a given task. We propose that the measure of firm's IB depends on how well its processes are defined, the maturity with which itcaptures and shares data, information, knowledge and wisdom and the level of collaboration its members employ. This paper presents the IB Maturity Model (IBMM), as a conceptual model to enable researchers and practitioners to determine an organization'sIB maturity.
