摘要

Although Kelvin probe measurement is well known as a powerful tool to monitor the electrochemical behaviors of atmospheric corrosion, it has never been carried out in chloride ions containing environments. In this study, activation / passivation process of corroded surface of low alloy steels were observed under several chloride ion concentration, in order to investigate the mechanism of reduction process of rust layer which may determine the oxygen reduction rate under thin electrolyte film.
