The complex metal hydride LiBH_4, with a high hydrogen density of 18.5 wt.%, has been attracting significant interests as one of the candidates for hydrogen storage materials. In our recent work, it was found that the impregnation of LiBH_4 in Ni foam enhances its dehydriding properties, possibly due to the formation of Ni borides [1, 2]. To further clarify the improvement effects of Ni, in this work, Ni powder was added to LiBH_4, and the dehydriding and rehydriding properties of LiBH_4 - Ni system were systematically investigated.
