摘要

Electrospinning is a technique used to generate fibers with micro- and submicrometer diameters, which first appear ed in 1934 as a new patented process for spinning small diameter fibers. Co- electrospinning, a branch of electrospinni ng, al lows for the manufacture of sheath-core fibers. The sheath-core structure combines different materials in the axial or radial direction and novel properties and functionalities for nanoscale devices can be antici pated. Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has superior electrical and mechanical properties, so incorporating CNTs i nto polymer nanofibers not only improves the mechanical strength of nanofibers but also makes insulating nanofibers conductive and forms nanowires i f CNTs is fabricated into core structure and polymer is in sheath structure.
