摘要

In this study, plasma electrolytic oxidation coatings deposited on three different aluminium-silicon alloys were investigated by SRV tribo-test in order to understand the effect of the silicon content of the aluminium substrates. The aluminium alloys used as substrate were A6061, Al-12Si and Al-15Si. It was found that appropriate silicon content should be selected to provide optimum tribological properties for plasma electrolytic oxidation on aluminium-silicon alloy.
