摘要

In this paper, we introduce a new testing instrument design of an air motor’s oil-gas separator. In our scheme, the soft-sensing technique is applied to obtain the main parameter: oscillation signal, in an indirect method. Then, a virtual instrument is designed to sample the necessary secondary variables, analyze these sampled signals and get the final testing results. The new testing instrument has the advantages of better measuring accuracy, higher measuring speed, shorter time needed in system designing and greater expansibility.
