摘要

In order to reduce the cost of blooming process, Xingtai Iron and Steel Company attempts to use protective atmosphere rapid remelting electroslag furnace to product hot work die steel H13. By comparing total oxygen content and solidification micro-structure and carbide distribution under different meltrates of H13, it is concluded that using the protective atmosphere of rapid remelting electroslag furnace can produce high quality hot work die steel H13. By optimizing the meltrate ideal directional electroslag billet solidification micro-structure can be obtained, and the cost is greatly reduced.
