摘要

The purpose of this presentation is to describe a near-term unmanned air vehicle (UAV) system for boost phase ballistic missile defense (BMD). Where one or more high altitude, long endurance (HALE) UAVs are deployed to defeat ballistic missile threats during their boost phase. The system is particularly suited for geographically smaller nations such as North Korea and possibly Iran.
