In Mobile Ad Hoc Network, hosts are connected together by wireless links with multi-hop communication. In this paper, a cross-layer design framework is proposed to addresses security, QoS, power management, and bandwidth utilization issues. In the suggested model, our proposed security mechanism lays the foundation for the integrated QoS framework. The framework then integrates MAC protocol, QoS routing and call admissions. It also includes power saving and load balance to guarantee QoS for applications with a mixture of real-time data and burst data. With the collaboration of services from different stack layers, the optimization of network performance can be achieved.
