This paper presents a real time (RT) model of an electric power system (EPS) and a number of applications for using in the tasks of operating control of operating conditions in EPS and power pools. The problem of constructing an RT dynamic model of a large power system is being solved, using as initial data the result of solution of the state estimation (SE) problem and the data of an operating information complex (SCADA). The program complex (PC) on the basis of the EPS RT model solves the task of information support for the operating-dispatching personnel of the System Operator of the United Power System (SO-UPS), Control Centers of power pools and systems and other power objects [1, 3, 8-10].
