Influence of organic modifier on particle dispersion of biodegradable resin-clay nanocomposite

In this study, biodegradable polymer-clay nanocomposites(PNC) were prepared by using different kinds of organic modifiers. Tensile test, XRD measurement, dynamic viscoelasticity measurement and TEM observation were carried out to examine the degree of clay particle dispersion. From these results, influence of guest in clay for particle dispersion and material strength were examined.
