摘要

Transparent insulation materials are being used in advanced facades, in order to avoid thermal losses while keeping large solar gains. A transient and one-dimensional numerical model has been developed to simulate single and double skin facades including honeycomb-type transparent insulation. Radiative heat transfer equation is solved considering a one-dimensional plane-parallel medium, with a discrete ordinate method, assuming azimuthal symmetry and two spectral bands: solar and thermal. The numerical model has been validated by comparison with analytical solutions and experimental data. A long-term numerical analysis of the performance of single and double skin facades including transparent insulation has been carried out, in order to determine the heating demand of a room with different types of fenestration systems.
