The IT Structure of Group Companies: A View from Corporate Governance

For most companies, especially those with a group of subsidiary companies, the combination of management and IT applications become more difficult. This paper discusses the IT structure for group companies in view of corporate governance. The key principles for IT structure design include: understanding business requirements, differentiating the constructing period and after-construction period, changing IT structure according to the corporate governance. The successful IT structure can help to make full use of IT resources and get appreciated financial results.
