Technology Progress and Employment Increase

The modern unemployment theory mainly includes: Periodic unemployment caused by the economical cycle, frictional unemployment related with pursuing a higher satisfactory position, as well as structural unemployment concerning a great deal of dismissed labor force as a result of the large-scale utilization of advanced machine. To analyze the employment effects of technology progress, the correlated research roughly reflects two kinds of thought: one is to directly analyze the employment effects of technology progress according to the classical economic idea, focusing on the employment mechanism influenced by technology progress; the other is to study the indirect employment realizing mechanism drawn by economic growth which is promoted by technology progress form the perspective of endogenous economy.
