At present, there is a growing need for the measures of reducing the indoor concentration of gaseous pollutants, and room air cleaners are regarded as one promising technology. It has been reported that the initial removal performance of air cleaners is high, however, the air cleaners removal performance durability is left unclear. In the former report, the special experiment equipment that attempted the deterioration of the air cleaner filter was developed. This report aims to investigate the following three points; 1. To test initial formaldehyde removal performance of an air cleaner by using the constant-emission device 2. To measure the deterioration of air cleaner filter by the special experiment equipment. 3. To test the durability of air cleaner performance for removing formaldehyde by using constant-emission device every month The results showed that the CADR for formaldehyde has decreased from 99.6[m~3/h] to 40.7[m~3/h] a month later. After that, the CADRs were indicated between 25.5[m~3/h] and 29.2[m~3/h].
