摘要

The environmental quality standard concentration of nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere is regulated at 40 approx 60ppbv by the Clean Air Act in Japan. Chemical luminescence method has been used for the measurement of nitrogen dioxide. However, the analytical instrument used by luminescence method is expensive and need to be set in a laboratory. A simple and convenient method is required for measuring nitrogen dioxide in the atmosphere. In the previous study, we developed miniature diffusion scrubber which was able to collect pollution gases into only 1mL of absorption solution. In this study, we investigate an automated continuous measurement method for air pollutant gases such as nitrogen by using miniature diffusion scrubber combined with a LED-PM (light Emitting Diode-Photometer).
