摘要

Removal equipment for NOx in the air was developed on the basis of diffusion scrubber method. This equipment consists of three parts. Inner part consists of one black light (UV irradiator). Middle consists of plates coated with TiO_2 as a photo catalyst, which surrounds the black light. And outer part consists of pyrex glass, which enables penetration of UV irradiation into the middle part from sunlight. This equipment can remove NOx by oxidation into HNO_3 by applying UV irradiation and flowing the air into the middle part of narrow space between plates. As the results of evaluation experiment of the developed equipment, high removal efficiency and high removal capacity for NOx were obtained by the use of the black light and/or sunlight was also confirmed.
