Compression and Improvement of Web Page Based on 1-0 UTF-8

摘要

This paper presents some novel methods of web page improvement. First, tags and hierarchical structure of markup languages can be represented and compressed by 1-0 UTF-8; second, codes of Unicode Code System (UCS) can be represented by 1-0 UTF-8, and local character encodings can also be represented by 1-0 UTF-8, and fully compatible; third, content of web page can be compressed by 1-0 UTF-8. In practice, all objects, all elements of page can be represented by 1-0 UTF-8. This makes page space greatly saved, and makes page more compact, fully compatible, more efficient, and easy to be parsed. This paper also proposes a novel tag and multimedia user-interface just as user-interface of characters. The implementation of the methods is not difficult, and can be realized in low level, middle level and high level. The applications of the methods might have strong influences upon web development.
