摘要

In the high-speed fiber communication system , the dispersion , non-linear effect, the performance of receiver and so on limit the further increase of transmission distance of fiber communication system . In order to reduce the effect of these adverse factors and improve the performance of fiber communication system , the FEC technology has been applied into the high-speed fiber communication system for further improving the quality of communication. The ITU-T stipulates that the basic FEC codes applied into the high-speed fiber communication system are BCH Code and RS Code. In this paper we give a detailed generalization and analysis of FEC technology, on the basis of analysis of some FEC technology and some present methods of implementing the function of FEC , we put forward the assumption of Advanced FEC and analyse its some performances in detail.
