On Composition and Refinement of Domain-Specific Languages in the Model of Language Family

摘要

Models for programming languages play an important role for studying properties of domain-specific languages. Based on the model of language family, this paper presents the semantics of composition and refinement for domain-specific languages, and shows the notion of correctness of the refinement relationship with respect to language composition. It extends the original model of language family and can be used as a theoretical basis for researching relationships between domain-specific languages and development of component software.
