摘要

Cryopreservation of fish sperm is considered as a valuable technique for the artificial reproduction and genetic improvement (Rana, 1985). In some cases cryopreservation induces injuries to fish spermatozoa that in turn affect gamete quality. The freezing-thawing procedure can affect sperm motility, fertilization ability, larval survival, DNA and protein integrity ( et al, 2000; Zilli et al., 2003). The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the freezing-thawing process on the phosphorylation state of the proteins involved in sperm motility initiation in gilthead sea breani.
