Upgrade Of BM29 and ID24 Optics. Two Complementary Beamlines For XAS Measurements At ESRF

Bm29 and ID24 are two complementary beamlines of the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility dedicated to X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy. BM29 is a standard energy scanning XAS beamline with a bending magnet X-ray source, while ID24 has an energy dispersive set-up with an undulator source. This paper describes the setup and the actual performances of the two beamlines and the ongoing refurbishment projects.
