A new test to analyse the behaviour of the anchorage-node system in Discontinuity or Disturbed (D) Regions is presented. This test allows to equilibrate tensile stresses in C-C-T joints. The main objective of this research is the development of a practical design formula to evaluate the length needed for the reinforcement anchorage in C-C-T nodes as a function of the inclined angle of the strut in the node. The parameters used in the test program are, besides different types of concrete and bar diameters, transmission length and inclined angle of the strut in the node. This paper presents the design test, the experimental program and some of the main results.
