The IR-4 programme in the USA has addressed the issue of loss of actives -most especially the need to maintain actives to use in the horticultural sector. Success from the programme has been the result of actions across the complete supply chain fromregulatory authorities to food supply companies, together with support from the principal crop protection product manufacturers.
