The phenomenon of ultraweak photon emission from organisms, referred to as biophoton emission, has potential indicating biological states without any external perturbation. It implies that biophoton analysis may provide a crucial method as noninvasive diagnosis for the next generation of biomedical measurement. From the early stage of biophoton research, Prof. Inaba's group has explored biophoton phenomena continuously with development of the technique for detection and analysis, and contributed to a number of applications for biological measurements. Here, I introduce and describe our recent achievements on biophoton analysis applied to various subjects of organisms form the level of microbe to that of plant and animal including human, with newly developed technology and instrumentations for physical analysis of biophoton.
