摘要

EPR- dosimetry on tooth enamel (TE) in X- band is widely used due to relative simplicity of usage and availability of the original sensor of a dose - teeth of people and animals. Stability of information about the adsorbed dose as well as the capability of repeated monitoring measurements are the advantages of EPR- dosimetry. One of its main lacks is the need in large amount of TE (up to 100 mg or more) for obtaining a sufficient signal/noise ratio. Extraction of rather uninjured teeth is required to get this amount. In the regions of Kazakhstan, suffered from nuclear tests, because of insufficient level of medical service for a major part of the population the unsatisfactory condition of teeth lowers the output of TE appropriate for analysis. It is well known, that in Q - band an indispensable volume of a sample decreases proportionally to shorter wavelength. It is possible to obtain such a quantity of TE even without extraction of dens of the patient during treatment, justified from the medical point of view. That unconditional advantage of Q - band can be realized with improvement of a technique of small probe obtaining. One more positive factor is the best separating of the informative EPR signal from interfering native signal from organic fraction, which one is admixed interfering with it in X- band. All this makes usage of Q- band attractive for EPR-dosimetry on TE; however, here there are also technical problems, first of all, low reproducibility of registered radiation signal.
