A retrospective analysis of corticosteroids usage on SARS was carried out. The SARS patients hospitalized in SARS ward of 1st Affiliated Hospital, Peking University, were involved in this study. From March to June, 132 cases were hospitalized in our hospital. All of the patients were discharged from the hospital except for 5 cases who died of SARS. The diagnosis of SARS was according to the criteria of SARS recommended by National Ministry of Health.
