Effects of heat treatment(normalizing or quenching & tempering ) on viscoplastic and dynamic aging properties of SCM435 steel have been investigated experimentally, and obtained experimental results were explained and simulated by using the overstress model with dynamic aging which has been developed by the Author. It was found that both viscous and aging properties increase with an increase of temperature for especially tempered steel, and flow stress sometimes increases with decrease of strain rate, because of strong increase in dynamic aging.
