Introductive Education of Computational Fluid Dynamics (2nd Report: Visualization of Karman Vortex Streets behind a Rectangular Cylinder)

摘要

Computational Fluid Dynamics (C.F.D.) is very important field for analyzing fluid phenomena. It is too difficult for students to program a useful C.F.D. code in six-months term of the class. In this study Micro/α-Flow, that is commercial applicative software, has been introduced to learn the process of three-dimensional viscous flow simulation in graduation research. It has been examined whether this method is effective as educational tool.
