摘要

Radiant floor heating systems have been widely used in new-built residences for its energy saving, comfortable, uniform indoor temperature and no inhabit space. But survey results showed that indoor temperature and design heating supply of almost all the residences with floor heating are too big to satisfy comfort and reduce energy demand. One of the most important factors is that thermal storage capability of concrete slab is not considered in slab-on-grade floor heating system designs. Thermal storage technology is one of the key components for solar buildings, while floor heating is one of the optimal auxiliary heating system, so how to effectively use heat charge/discharge characteristic of concrete slab is very important.
