摘要

1. The total cost decreases when energy integration level is applied as shown in the annualized costs figure. Utilities costs is the most important factors of the over total production cost. Also the percentage of integration in small-scale biorefinery is lower due to the scale type. 2. The environmental analysis reveals that the levels of energy integration can reduce considerably the PEI of the biorefinery cases, even at small scale. 3. According to the scale evaluation, the over total cost per kg decreases in both scales when the raw material flow increases, giving the possibility of understanding when is convenient or not to develop a small biorefinery project.
