摘要

Adsorption of phenol on four activated carbons was determined at 300, 310 and 320 K in oxic and anoxic conditions. It is shown, that the surface oxide groups assigned by Boehm's titration method as "lactones" are responsible for the temperature change in the resistance of carbons and for the decrease in the amount of irreversibly adsorbed phenol. The mechanism of phenol oxidative polymerization is proposed basing on the presented data.
