Full Confirmation Electronic Voting Model: Countermeasures to Forcible or Internal Illicit Improprieties

In an electronic voting system, the logic of the system and the tallying process are not directly visible to voters. Consequently, the average voter lacks assurance that his or her ballot is properly reflected in the tally. Various forms of below-the-surface improprieties may in fact occur if a person committed to using forcible and illicit measures to create the appearance of mass support succeeds in influencing the companies or individuals responsible for the development of the system. It can be safely assumed that a large number of countries have a keen interest in the development of sound and appropriate electronic voting systems.Talcing these factors into consideration, in this study I am proposing a full-confirmation electronic voting model based on the assumption that electronic voting systems have been installed in polling places. The model is aimed at providing assurance tothe average voter that his or her ballot is properly reflected in the tally. As I have received some comments on the model, the proposal presented in this paper constitutes a research-in-progress proposal.
