PVDF-TRANSDUCERS FOR STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING

摘要

Structural health monitoring consists of both passive and active sensing monitoring. While passive sensing diagnostics serves for the identification of the location and force-time-history by external sources, active sensing diagnostics of structures serves for localization and determining the magnitude of a damage. This paper shows the application of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) sensors and actuators for its use in structural health monitoring.
