Reducing procurement costs, while increasing speed, efficiency and productivity are among the benefits that users of e-commerce Internet sites have achieved, but Invensys Process Systems has found that in many companies there remain barriers to obtaining these benefits. Collaborative e-procurement: a better way to specify and buy automation on-line, will address how collaborative specifying and procurement tools help eliminate key barriers to on-line purchasing, while extending the benefits of e-commerce to the engineering community.
