Computational electromagnetics in Poland some remarks on the 400th anniversary of William Gilbert's book

The paper has to remind the 400 aniversary of the book by William Gilbert, which can be recognised as the beginning of electromagnetics as the scientific subject. In the frame of the 400-year history, the development of Polish research in the particular subject of electromagnetics, namely computational electromagnetics (CEM), is presented.
