Time Domain Simulation of Ringing of Heidrun TLP

摘要

Universal nonlinear input output model was applied to simulate the ringing loads on Heidrun TLP in the real time domain as they were measured in the wave tank. The same UNIOM was applied to simulate the non-linear response of the linear mechanical TLP-system due to the simulated nonlinear wave loads. The simulated nonlinear ringing and springing responses were in good agreement with the experimental data.
