A performance simulation model of newly proposed 802.11g addition to popular 802.11 standard is presented using communications blockset of Matlab/Simulink. Performance characteristics of the underlying modem are presented in terms of BER versus SNR. We show the simulation results for the physical layer of WLAN 802.11g corresponding to 54Mbps.
