On Roads to Mitigate Privacy Invasions by Data Mining

摘要

Data mining is an exploratory data analysis task that is widely used by government and businesses today. Data mining presents huge impact on privacy matters. This paper concentrates on how we are dealing with these privacy issues and how the privacy invasions by data mining can be mitigated. This paper will briefly review the available laws and regulations in the United States relevant to the privacy problems of data mining. It will also review the research efforts as technical solutions to solve privacy problems of data mining.
