摘要

In this paper, we propose a robust watermarking technique taking into account region, boundary and image characteristics. This is achieved by exploiting salient region or object features and characteristics of the image using robust feature extraction algorithms. The point feature characterization used in this work will be invariant to geometrical transformations such as cropping. The feature points are used to define Voronoi cells and image segments based on the Voronoi diagram. These segments will be used for the watermarking process. Our contribution is enhancing robustness without affecting the invisibility of the watermark in image by proposing a new watermarking algorithm based on robust image feature extraction techniques. Various experiments have been conducted to show the performance of the scheme.
