摘要

Recently, it has been the important technology to improve the life reliability of electron materials by the advanced compound surface modification. In the present study, the influence of DLC coating/Cu plating compound surface modification on the mechanical fatigue life of the extremely rough surface of electron part, that is the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits) copper foil shown in Fig.1 was experimentally analyzed. During the process of manufacture of copper foil, if the rough surface, that is the mechanical defect as shown in Fig.1(b) would be made, the defect could worsen the life reliability of FPC.
