Development of air-conditioner with heat pump floor-heating system

Development of Air-conditioner with Heat Pump Floor-Heating System was reported. In Japan, the final energy consumption increases year by year. Especially, in residential category, this trend is extremely remarkable. On the other hand, in home appliances market, the number of sales of floor heating systems is getting larger and larger. This system has the extremely high co-efficiency of performance and the COP is over the value of the save energy regulation in air-conditioner in Japan. "Two Stage Condensing Cycle" was developed for this system. This is able to change the cycle by solenoid valve to maintain the condensing temperature for floor heating, in case that the room temperature is near setting temperature. Without "Two Stage Condensing Cycle" it is impossible to maintain the floor surface temperature over 30°C. In view point of primary energy, this system spends primary energy half of gas type system.
