The thermal performance of the snow-melting system using underground thermal energy was experimentally investigated in a snowy and cold regions. The experiment using the ground source heat pump was carried out for two months. The ground heat exchanger consists of double U-tubes and double pipe In this paper the coefficient of performance (COP) and the heat flux on road surface were expressed.
