Joint supermode and LP01 passive mode selection in an array of large mode area fiber lasers using a compact self Fourier cavity

摘要

The paper presents results based on detailed analysis showing that large numbers of emitting elements can be coherently combined by using spontaneous phase locking of fiber lasers and that smaller numbers of high-power, large mode area (LMA) elements can be combined to achieve very high output power.
