摘要

Multidimensional fluorescence spectroscopy is ready for applications in the field of environmental and process analysis: The commercially available instrumentation and computational methods are robust and sophisticated enough for industrial problem solving, respectively monitoring and field screening. Chemometrical methods allows a powerful soft modelling of complex variations in mixture spectra, utilizing all the available information. The presented approach based on time-resolved excitation emission spectra is probably the method of choice in complex situations, excitation-emission spectra or time resolved emission spectra at a single excitation wavelength are sufficient in many simple cases.
