摘要

The presented studies, in which geophysical methods have been applied to detect indirectly changes in the contamination of contaminants in the underground, transported with the groundwater, demonstrate that standard screening techniques can be enhanced by such new and unconventional in situ methods. Especially the induced polarization method can be considered as a useful screening tool for monitoring, detection of the extent, of the migration and the natural attenuation of plumes or contaminations leaking from waste deposits.
