Future mobile communication system will provide services to users worldwide .It is essential to define efficient medium access control (MAC) protocols that suitable for both terrestrial and satellite systems. In this paper a modified PRMA-HS(packet reservation multiple access protocol in hindering state )protocol is proposed for the low earth orbit mobile satellite systems LEO-MSS The Equilibrium Point Analysis EPA method is used to verify the performance and the simulation is completed at the same time. Performance comparison between the PRMA-HS and the MPRMA-HS is completed ,this new technique has shown very promising results in terms of both packet drop probability and throughout.
