The thickness of the outer ice crust on Europa is an important factor for the cryobotic exploration, for the analysis of tectonic structures on it, for the possibility of a water ocean below it and for various aspects of astrobiology. In this article we outline a simple method for the estimation of the crustal thickness at chaotic terrains and the first result of it.
