摘要

The chemical, structural, thermal and phase-transition characteristics of Al_2O_3 supported PdO catalyst have been investigated by using SEM, TGA, AES and in-situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction (HTXD). The PdO-Pd phase decomposition and re-oxidation features under vacuum, air and mixture of methane, oxygen and nitrogen have been explored through the in-situ HTXD. The study indicated that the deposited PdO exhibits a dispersed distribution on the surface of the supported layer. The in-situ high temperature X-ray study demonstrates that the decomposition of PdO to metal Pd is dependent on the partial pressure of oxygen in various experimental gas environments.
