In this study, nano-sized Ti incorporated SAPO-34 catalysts have been synthesized successfully. The incorporation of Ti intO SAPO-34 framework obviously improved the MTO catalytic performance. The content of Ti was optimized with respect to the content of Ti. Nowadays, the conventional production of light olefins by naphtha cracking is seriously challenged by increasing oil price and high energy consumption. Thus methanol-to-olefins (MTO) has attracted a great deal of interest as an alternative technology for the production of light olefins due to the oil depletion and environmental issues including global warming crisis. As MTO catalysts, SAPO-34 is the most promising catalyst because of its good selectivity to light olefins. Therefore, many studies have been carried out on SAPO-34 to improve the MTO catalytic performance [1-3]. In this study, nano-sized Ti-incorporated SAPO-34 catalysts were developed for MTO reaction.
